Company History
Thrive Marketing Group, a leading performance marketing firm, began seven years ago as Ad-Site.com. Initially focused on internet radio and traffic-centered advertising, Rob Bellenfant acquired the company in 2006 and transformed the focus to performance and email marketing. As the current owner and CEO, Rob has assembled a team at Thrive whose expertise and years of experience in online marketing have helped to make it one of the most successful online marketing firms today.
Thrive’s approach to business growth and success has been built upon excellence in service and word of mouth through our clients’ testimonials, rather than on extensive self-branding efforts. Based in Nashville, TN, Thrive is proud to have clients from all over the United States, ranging in size from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
About Us
- Rob, Chief Executive Officer
Rob Bellenfant is a serial entrepreneur and investor - he has started six successful businesses over the past 13 years. He knows the heart of a successful business is its marketing which, along with information technology and finance, he considers to be his specialties. Rob has a competitive spirit and is not hesitant to go the extra mile or take lower margins for his clients to win them over, and he has a unique viewpoint on how to measure success. Unlike traditional business owners or entrepreneurs, he employs over 50 metrics to measure success including the number of new testimonials from clients, the number of new members added to his team, and the number of times he hears a client or team member say "Wow." Rob's door is always open to existing clients, potential clients, and team members, and he hopes you will provide him feedback (good or bad) about Thrive!
- Evan, Chief Information Officer
Evan has over 10 years of experience in the Information Technology industry. He initially honed his IT support and service skills as a consultant, developing solutions to streamline operations for small businesses in a variety of industries. In addition to his capacity as a consultant, Evan was previously employed in the healthcare industry as a small business IT manager and an Engineer for a Top-Ten (worldwide, by node!) M-Grade network. He thinks that's pretty cool. At Thrive, Evan manages and develops all aspects of our Information Technology Systems.
- Erich, Director of Communications
Erich joined the Thrive team in June of 2008. For four years he worked in Nashville, TN, both as a musician and in the marketing field of the music industry. For two of the four years Erich took over as president of an independent music publishing company before moving to the financial services industry in sales and marketing, and doing bankruptcy law mediation in the mortgage industry. Erich believes that he brings creativity, keen analytic skills, and perhaps even a bit of wit to Thrive's business communications… although he admits that the wit may be pushing it, a bit.
- Chris, Director of Business Development
A recent addition to the team, Chris is a native of East Tennessee, born and raised outside of Chattanooga. Prior to joining Thrive, he was active in politics working on a successful Senatorial campaign in 2006, and serving as the Executive Director of a local political party in Murfreesboro, TN. Upon completing his MBA, Chris spent the next three years in the financial services industry at both an investment banking firm and a financial planning firm. Chris believes he excels at cultivating new relationships, and he looks forward to fostering the existing relationships Thrive has built over the years.
- Michele, Marketing Strategist
Michele holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and has a wealth of experience in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations. For the past 15 years she has worked with companies like Xerox, Dun and Bradstreet, and Netscape as well as having sales experience in the software industry. Michele believes that patience, creativity, and friendliness are three of her best attributes, and we agree.
- John, Marketing Strategist
John holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business from Belmont University. In the past four years, he has worked in various roles within the music industry from mailing list/database management to online marketing. His skills in email marketing and social media are what have brought him to Thrive. Whether you need focused help with a specific email marketing campaign or someone to help you make sense of how all the pieces fit into your overall marketing plan, John's your guy.

- Andrew, Marketing Campaign Coordinator / Executive Assistant

His work in online advertising sales and campaign management helped to develop his skillful blend of professionalism and creativity. He sees every day as an opportunity to increase his efficiency without sacrificing accuracy. At Thrive, Andrew has his hand in a little bit of everything. Along with formulating email layouts and making sure the data clients receive is polished, he plays the role of administrative admiral.
